Not only does He not require it, a lot of times He chooses the most flawed people in which to do His work.
Made some big mistakes? Yep, that’s ok. David did too. And the woman at the well.
Feel small and insignificant? Yep, no problem. So did Moses, Gideon, and Jonah.
Full of doubt? It’s alright. So was Thomas.
Missed opportunities to acknowledge Jesus to others? I understand. So did Peter.
Virtually, everyone I read about in the Bible felt insecure, incapable, weak, dirty, doubtful, hesitant, etc, etc.
But the one thing they all had in common? The one thing that God requires?
Your willingness. Your surrender. Your yes.
Other than that. HE’s GOT IT!!!
So, today, friends….let’s give Him all we have and all we are. And then we will leave the rest to HIM.
Believe me, I have seen HIM do miraculous things with my few little crumbs.
Remember, He is the master of providing feasts to thousands….just because a little boy gave all he had.
Thanks, God, for accepting our little morsels. You promise us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, mountains can be moved. We offer you our little…as we watch YOU turn it into much.
